Google has announced a new report – Brand Report – that offers advertisers using Google Ads enhanced insights.
The report is dedicated to providing reach and frequency metrics for your ad campaigns. Importantly, the data is deduplicated and allows users to sort the information by on-target demographics, such as gender or age.

By consolidating data across multiple tools, Google states that the Brand Report is “making it easier for you to measure key performance indicators (KPIs), understand performance drivers and identify insights to maximise return on investment (ROI)”.
Measuring reach and frequency is critical for marketers using Google Ads, as it means you can get a much better understanding of things such as how many people were shown your ads and how frequently they saw them over a period of time.
Using this information, you can see if you’re achieving your goals and whether (or not) you need to optimise those campaigns.
With their announcement, Google has stated the following requirements to note:
- Data is available at the single account level. You can’t pull data for multiple accounts or MCCs.
- The maximum date range available for reach metrics is 92 days.
- The maximum number of campaigns is 10,000.
- Search, Shopping and Performance Max campaigns aren’t supported.
- Campaigns must have more than 10,000 impressions for data to populate.
You can access the new Brand Report from your Google Ads Account by clicking the Campaigns icon, then click Insights and reports in the drop-down menu and select Brand Report.
