Meta has announced some new AI innovations that they claim will help drive performance for advertisers.
In the announcement, Meta said: “Every retail or ecommerce business’ growth is dependent on maintaining their margins as they scale. This means that marketers need to be constantly searching for every incremental performance gain possible.
“To help each business grow profitably we continue to invest in AI models like Andromeda that analyze tens of millions of ads and find the right message for the right person at the right time, making the most efficient use of advertising spend.
“Now, we’re also introducing new tools and placements that can be used with the AI-powered Advantage+ sales campaigns to maximize performance, giving our ad systems more options while driving sales online and in-store.”
The innovations that will be launched soon include:
- Advantage+ Catalog ads – promote additional products to users from your catalog, to help expose them to additional ideas of things to buy that might be related or complement them.
- Omnichannel Ads – these ads help combine online and offline sales, by guiding people to their nearest store that has products in stock.
- Facebook Notifications Ads – the notifications section on Facebook is highly visited by users, so now you will be able to try to engage them with ads. This will be particularly useful to reach people who are already aware of you.
- Site Links on Instagram Ads – site links already exist on Facebook ads, so this now extends to Instagram, allowing you to highlight multiple landing pages (for different products or services) in a single image or video ad.
- Email capture in Promotion Ads – this tool allows you to request an email address before you share a promo or discount code with them.
We think these innovations are going to help advertisers get even better performance from their campaigns across Facebook and Instagram, leading to better customer acquisition and revenue.
